Mariannie has turned some heads in high places. This young Canadian is a power package of musical talent and beauty. Born in the Philippines, Mariannie’s musical abilities emerged early. Her mother began 

recording her daughters on cassette tapes to send to their grandmother in Chicago. When the family moved to Canada, Mariannie was able to get involved with singing in church and musical theatre.

Mariannie’s grandmother was a major influence on her both musically and spiritually. Her grandmother was a classically trained vocalist. She worked with Mariannie and helped her develop her skills in a disciplined and methodical way that has given Mariannie a solid musical foundation. A major influence in Mariannie’s vocal style has been the gospel music she has always sung in church. Early on, the emotion and passion that music can express, attracted her.

A prolific songwriter and accomplished pianist, Mariannie has been growing as an artist. She brings the power of gospel and her love of old standards to the excitement and soul of modern hip hop and R&B. Collaborating with local underground artists and producers, Mariannie has been able to hone her arrangement skills and understanding of rhythm.

A tiny body, a big voice, a beautiful face and tons of talent. That is Mariannie. Young, smart and determined, she is unstoppable.
