From his home base in Toronto, Canada, J-Groove’s 20 year DJ’ing career has taken him from neighboring cities such as New York, all the way to Manila (Philippines), Belgrade (Serbia), Tel-Aviv (Jerusalem), and Shanghai (China) to name a few. While in Tel-Aviv (@TLV, the site of the first Global Underground recording), J’s set was to last only two hours, but six hours later the captivated audience was still screaming for more. Things are no different in the studio. From the beginning J's tracks were gaining big attention. In fact his first productions were licensed to Donald Glaude's "Live From Buzz", and Bad Boy Bill's "Bangin' the Box 5". With releases on Subliminal Soul, Sondos, Deep Vision, Loaded, and remixes for Jive, J-Groove has been busy making a name for himself. In addition to many solo projects, J has also collaborated with many of the top names in the biz. Artists such as Sandy Rivera and Erick Morillo have helped shape how he approaches production to this very day.

These days, J has stepped into the record label owner role, alongside partner/studio mate Isaac S. The two already have numerous releases on their own DIRTY DELUXE RECORDS under the pseudonym “BeatFlippers”. Major support has already been coming in from the likes of The ScumFrog, DeepGroove, and BBC’s Trophy Twins.

Whatever J-Groove takes on, you can be sure he will be setting trends.
